I have read a lot of question about Canon LBP printer drivers that worked flawlessly in Snow Leopard now stop working in Lion. Luckily, Canon Australia has updated the latest driver CAPT 3.36 for this Lion OSX. Here’s how to get your Canon LBP worked in Lion
1. Download the driver from: http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100359005.html
2. Save in your computer desktop and double-click the file to mount the Disk Image
3. Open the installer to install
4. Now go to your System Preference -> Print & Scan -> Click on (+) button to add the printer. It will display the current plugged-in printer, choose “Select Printer Software…” from “Print Using” combo box
5. Select your corresponding driver from the dialog, press OK and then Add
6. Restart your computer
7. Now try to print from your Canon with the new Lion OSX
