By default, Preview is good & power enough to open PDF file, but if you want to use Acrobat Reader as your default viewer, then it’s not very difficult.
- Right click on any .PDF file and select Get Info.
- Expand the Open With tab and choose Acrobat Reader as your viewer
- Click on Change All and confirm the question.
- From now on, all .PDF document will be opened with your Acrobat Reader instead of Preview
