There is a quick way to place an Eject button on the Menu Bar of MacOSX, as in below picture:
Just follow these simple steps:
1. Open finder and go to your MacOSX root partition
2. Go go System/Library/CoreServices/MenuExtras
3. Double click on the Eject.menu file
4. And Voila`, you have your Eject Button on the Menu Bar
