ON MACOS
Sometimes you may need to clear the DNS cache of your MacOS, just do it as followed:
1. Goto Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
2. At the terminal, type:
For MacOS Tiger & older:
lookupd -flushcache
For MacOS Leopard & Snow Leopard
dscacheutil -flushcache
HOW ABOUT ON LINUX?
It’s simple, too
Open your terminal and execute the command:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
Slackware:
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart
